Omega-3 fatty acid is basically a polyunsaturated fat with a double bond at the third carbon atom from the end note of carbon chain. Omega 3 fatty acid cannot be produced by human body. There are three types of Omega 3 fatty acid which are involved in human psychology. They are ALA, EPA, and DHA. ALA is found in plant extracts and EPA and DHA are available in marine oils.
