The natural beauty and landscape of the beaches are unbelievable. Beaches are mainly lying in the eastern and western coast of India. In western coast India has beaches in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu and in Eastern coast India has beaches in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Beaches at Daman and Diu and Andaman and Nicober Islands are also very famous.

Varkala Beach has picturesque view extending towards Arabian Sea especially in the evening. It is one of the best places for taking sun bath and for swimming. It is said that the sea water in Varkala has some healing properties and it is believed that dipping into the Varkala Sea purge away all impurities. It is the only beach in Kerala which has cliffs. It also has various spa providers at the side of these cliffs. The best time to visit Varkala beach is from September to March.

  1. Varkala beach is also called paapnashanam beach !! Its famous gmfor yoga & kathakali training centres & camps too! U can see foreigners practicing yoga & kathakali steps on the beach in serenity ☺
    Goa :every beach is a delight to spend time!!a small state with highly developed tourism as that the main source of earnings !!
