5 Best Places to visit in India. India– the country with rich heritage and culture holds all the power and vigor which attracts people from all over the world. No other country in world has such diversity in geography, culture, language, religion and tradition. The country consists of twenty nine states and seven union territories. Each state and union territory has its own specifications.

Every place is important and unique in its own way. Still I will share the best five places which are to visit in India. First I will start with the place where history and base of India lies down that is Delhi and Agra.

New Delhi is the capital city of India and always been the political capital from the age old times of Muslim dynasty. The very famous Taj Mahal which is enlisted among the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife as a memento of eternal love. It is situated in Agra at the bank of river Yamuna. It is still now remarkable as the symbol of love. The burial of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan lies down in the basement part of this structure. The Mughal fine architectural designs are engraved in the stones of the building. Fatehpu Sikri, Agra Fort, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar , Jantar Mantar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple. India Gate-all reflects history of India. The burials of great leaders and freedom fighters are situated in Delhi. Indian Parliament, Rashapati Bahwan all are prime buildings for political purpose.

Next I will suggest is Jammu and Kashmir-the paradise on earth. One will just remain speechless ones he/she have a view of the natural lush green landscape, the ripping down waterfalls. Leh and Ladakh behold the naked peaks of the Himalayan ranges. Gulmarg and Pahalgam have beautiful gardens which will just blow away your heart. Dal Lake again will be a quiet romantic place to ride on “shikaras”. For Hindus Vaishno Devi temple and Amarnath is a holy place for worship.

People who love to have view of greenery around must visit Kerala. It is known as “God’s own country” for its tropical green plants and blue ocean water. Kerala is also renowned for its coastal beaches and very famous for its house boats. Beaches such as Cherai, Kappad, Kovalam attracts tourists. Ayurvedic treatment and spa therapy is very famous in Kerala.”Vallam Kali” the traditional snake boat race is performed during the Onam festival is one of the main attractions for tourists. Kerala is again famous for its spices and food. St. Angel’s Fort Bekal Fort is places to visit as it contains the history of Portuguese reign in Kerala. Among the temples Padmanabhaswamy is a preferred tourist spot.

Goa will be another darling places to visit who loves beaches and want to have fun during their tour. Being the smallest state in India it is famous for its eye captivating beaches and lovely age old Indo –Portuguese architecture. The old Churches in Goa can enlisted in the best list of Churches among the world for its architecture. The Basilica of Bom Jesus, the wild life sanctuaries, Dudhsagar Falls, the beautiful temples will make the visit memorable. The fun part of Goa visit will be the beaches specially –  Angoda beach, Baga Beach, Calangute Beach and many more. Each beach is special in its own way. If one visits Goa Carnival they can feel the vigor and grandeur of colors.

Another good place to visit can be Rajasthan-“the land of Kings”. In Rajasthan Jaipur and Udaipur are most visited places. Jaipur is also known as the “pink city” which is rich for its royal heritage. Jaipur is famous for Hawa Mahal and Nahargarh Fort. Udaipur is known as the “Venice in East”. Udaipur is counted among one of the best honeymoon spots in India. Udaipur is dominant about its Rajput era. Udaipur is also known as Lake City. Fateh Sagar Lake, Pichkola Lake, City Palace, Udaysagar are just mesmerizing. Rajasthan depicts grandeur and vigor of Rajput Era.

There are also other places  which one can visit in India are Darjeeling in West Bengal-“the queen of hills”, Kanyakumari, Mysore-capital of Karnataka, Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Sikkim-“the peaceful home”, Orissa-the state of temples. Hill stations in Himachal Pradesh.Dharmashala in Himachal Pradesh are a great tourist spot. India is really incredible and its spectacular beauty, culture and vigor are indefinable.
