In this article we are going to discuss about one of the common health issues that everybody faces at certain stage of daily life i.e. acidity. The problem of acidity is very common it is quiet regular in our daily life. But still one can take care of it if the person remain conscious and follow certain remedies.

Acidity is a very common problem which everyone faces in regular life. For digestion stomach secrets acids which helps us to digest food. But when this level of acid increases in our body it creates several problems for our body such as indigestion, gas formation, heart burns, burning sensation in throat, acid reflux, bloating of stomach, chest pain. These problems trigger out mainly from various spicy foods.

  • Digene-It is chewable digestive tablet which gives relief from acidity and gas. It comes in various flavors.
  • Himalaya Gasex Tablets-Gasex tablets cures indigestion and abdominal discomfort. It improves gaseous distention. It is available in the form of tablets.
  • Himalaya Trikatu- It contains beneficiary herbs such as black Pepper and Long Pepper which are effective for digestion. It also contains Ginger which reduces stomach pain and disorders. It is an ayurvedic product. It comes in the form of tablet.
  • Himalaya Triphala- Triphala is again a natural supplement which contains lot of anti oxidants. It provides gastrointestinal support.It is available in the form of tablets.

  • Ginger-Ginger protects your stomach from harmful effects which can be caused due to regular acidity problems. Ginger has essential nutrients helps to break down the protein in our body.
  • Tulsi or Basil Leaf- Intake of five to six basil leaves after your meal can help one to have easy process of digestion.
  • Cold Milk-Cold milk gives relief to acid reflux, burning sensation which happens due to acid formation. The high level of calcium in the milk absorbs the extra acid formed in the body due to rich meals.
  • Mint-Mint gives a relief to burning effect which is caused due to acidity. It even cools down stomach which gets heated up due to excessive acid formation.
  • Jeera- Jeera helps to increase the metabolism and gives relief to gas problems. Either take it raw after meals or can boil in water and drink it.
  • Saunf or Fennel Seeds- Saunf provides a cooling effect to stomach and helps to reduce stomach irritation. Saunf is taken after meals.
  • Elaichi or Cardamom-Eliachi stops stomach muscles to produce excessive acids which safeguards body from acidity. Boil two pods of elaichi in water and drink the water after it gets cooled.
